Fall Assessment Plan in AAPS

During the weeks of October 26^thand November 2^nd, Mitchell 3-5^thGraders will be taking the NWEA Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) Assessment in Reading and Math. The Mitchell 2^ndgraders will take the NWEA math assessment and a district designed assessment for reading. Finally, the Mitchell K-1^stgrade students will be taking the Lexia auto-placement assessment for reading and a district designed assessment for math. We give these tests to help determine a student's instructional level and help provide more information about each child so we can better help them grow as readers and mathematicians.
