Dear Families,
After our first week of virtual learning, we've learned a lot. Thank you for your partnership and patience as we've launched the 2020-21 school year!
This communication contains important information about week 2 of school and preparing for week 3 of school.
Week 2: September 14th- 18th
· On Monday (and all of next week), please use the same Zoom link from your child's teacher to enter school. We will use that link again to be fully ready to use Schoology beginning the week of September 21. To be clear, this is a different plan than we shared previously. We are delaying logging into Schoology until September 21.
· During week 2, your child's teacher will be teaching lessons for the year as well as teaching some technology skills to get them ready for week 3.
IMPORTANT: Please check the US Mail for a letter we sent to your home. It contains QR codes your child will need in week 3 of school.
- Preschool, Young 5s, Kindergarten and 1st grade students will have two QR codes in their letter.
- 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th will have one QR code.
When you receive the QR code(s), please tell your child's teacher. They are keeping track of who has their codes and who does not.
NOTE: Please do not lose the QR code. Your child will need these for week 3 of school. However, if you do misplace them, let us know.
Week 3: September 21st - 25th
When school begins on week 3, your child will use their QR codes to log into Schoology. Your child will know what to do with the QR codes because teachers will have demonstrated and communicated this during week 2. More information will be shared next week.
