Students Eat More Healthy Foods When Recess Is Held Before Lunch - NYTimes.com

A number of years ago, many Ann Arbor elementary schools - including Mitchell School - began holding recess before lunch instead of the more traditional course of the other way around. Of course we did this for a lot of good reasons including a set of research and information from schools that were experiencing success with this model encouraging students to eat what was in their lunch box or on their lunch tray.
