Mitchell PYP 5th Grade Exhibition - May 18

In just a few weeks, the Mitchell 5th grade classes will host the First Annual PYP Exhibition! This is an important part of the IB Primary Years Programme at Mitchell. It is a celebration of the transition our students will make as they move from elementary school to middle school. It will be an opportunity to showcase student projects that have been developed independently by individuals and small groups. Our 5th graders have been working on their exhibition projects since January! We hope you will join us the Mitchell PYP Exhibition on May 18 at 6:00 PM.

Mitchell PTO Science Night and Movie Night – May 12

This week your child(ren) should have brought home permission slips for a Mitchell PTO sponsored science fair/science night. This is NOT a required activity for kids but does give those who would like to create and share a science project the opportunity to participate. If you're interested, please fill out the paperwork and return it to the school office for the Mitchell PTO. On Friday, May 12 kids will bring and display their completed projects to school at 5:30 PM. They will have the opportunity to present their projects and see the projects of other kids.

At 6:30 PM we will all go to the multi-purpose room for family movie night! All participating children must be with a supervising adult. It's going to be a great night!
