ImportantInformation for Parents

We are grateful to parents for following the Super Six protocols to protect their student's and school's health. With numerous cases in the district and community, please take care to do the following.

  • Pre-screen your child daily using the district questionnaire
  • Keep all students home if anyone in the household shows symptoms or tests (+)
  • Let your principal know ASAP if there's a case in your household or student and answer the call from a school nurse
  • Understand that despite all efforts at physical distancing, your student may need to quarantine based on a classroom case. WCHD determines details of any quarantine needed.
  • Contact your school nurse with questions - bit.ly/NurseCareCorner

Title 1Family Night – May 20th @ 6:30 PM

Many families are feeling overwhelmed with the day to day details of life during a pandemic. One way to unwind and connect as a family is to experience music together. Join the AAPS Title 1 team for our Total Engagement Experience with Rodney Page. At this fun zoom event for the whole family, Rodney Page will teach us how we can use music to manage life and day to day stress. We hope to see you there!

AAPS Summer School Opportunities

The AAPS Elementary Remote Learning Expeditions are learning opportunities for students in grades Y5, K, 1, 2, 3, and 4 and were created to honor and leverage the knowledge, skills, and abilities that all families bring to student learning. The program's ultimate goal is to engage students in new and exciting ways.  While students are learning, they will also be participating in a game!  Each adventure provides authentic learning connected to grade level goals and objectives with the opportunity to earn badges.

Please know the following:

  • These programs are open to all currently enrolled AAPS students, Y5-4th grade.
  • Learn more about these programs on our AAPS Summer Learning Program website.
  • Enrollment will be on a first come, first served basis, and dependent on staff availability.
